
Originally from Cork, Sally is a multi-award winning writer, actor and sketch and musical comedian living in London.
As a writer she has recently written 5 episodes of the Netflix hit ‘GEEK GIRL’.
Previous scripted work includes episodes for DREAMLAND (Merman/Sky) and BUFFERING (ITV2). She was also a writer on 2 series of ‘THE EMILY ATACK SHOW' (ITV2) 4 series of IAIN STERLING'S CELEBABILITY (ITV2 ) and also wrote weekly for 2 series of the satirical sketch show ‘CALLEN'S KICKS' for RTE Radio1. She has worked in the development rooms for Bad Nanny (Netflix), Fond of a Jar (Deadpan Pictures) and White Dress (Merman)
Other credits include No Worries if Not (RTE), and both NewsJack and The Now Show ( BBC Radio 4). She was shortlisted for the BAFTA comedy writing competition in 2018 and her first original comedy pilot 'Holy Mary' was commissioned by UKTV Gold as part of its female script writers initiative with Comedy 50:50.
She is the Irish third of critically acclaimed sketch group Muriel (Winners of both the So You Think You're Funny sketch competition and the Leicester Square Sketch-Off.) Their online videos have amassed 100 million views and been featured in dozens of international publications including Evening Standard, ITV News, Time Out, and Daily Mail among others. Their sketch 'She's Asking For It' broke the record becoming BBC Three's most watched sketch of all time. Their critically-acclaimed live show Bad Master enjoyed a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and two sold out runs at the Soho Theatre
She is also one half of music comedy duo Stiff and Kitsch (We Got Ticket Musical Comedy Awards Winners 2018) Their 5* reviewed musical comedy stage show Adele Is Younger Than Us and Bricking It have sold oout 4 years at Edinburgh Fringe, aswell as venues across the UK and Ireland. Their music videos have been featured by The Hook, Fab Magazine Comedy Central UK and BBC3. Their first musical Another Girl is currently in development.
As an actor Sally trained at LAMDA, she can be seen in Breeders (Sky/FX), The Emily Atack Show (ITV2), Buffering (ITV2) and Nowhere Fast (RTE)
